Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market offers around 170 wines from some of the world’s best growing regions in California, Spain, Italy, Argentina and New Zealand, to name a few.  Nearly 80 of the wines offered at their stores are award-winning, exclusive blends and the majority retail for under $10 a bottle.

Wine enthusiasts will be tasting three of Fresh & Easy’s wines that are perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations, and sharing their questions and thoughts on them.

Montcadi Cava Rosé

This fresh, rose sparkling wine from Spain has ripe strawberry fruit and soft, biscuit flavors.  This vibrant celebration wine is best served chilled, on its own or with light canapés, and makes a perfect accompaniment to any meal.  Montcadi Cava Rose was a recent Double Gold winner at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.

Boro Hills Sauvignon Blanc

This wine from the Marlborough region in New Zealand has elegant gooseberry aromas with intense flavors of freshly squeezed lime juice. It has a nicely balanced acidity with a long finish – a truly refined style of Sauvignon Blanc.  Perfect to drink chilled on its own as an aperitif and great with seafood dishes and salads.

Matuco Malbec

This bright, intense red wine from the Mendoza region in Argentina has appealing violet aromas and delicate hints of vanilla and oak on the nose. The palate is firm, fruity and ripe, with layers of black fruit flavors and a long, elegant finish. Best served with grilled red meats, peppered steaks or spicy chicken.
