Wine Soirée with Fresh & Easy
In celebration of the expansion of our wine range, we're inviting you to taste some of our new, exclusive wines with us.
Join us online for our Twitter Wine Tasting hosted by our wine expert, Richard Wherry, on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 7pm (PT). He’ll offer tips on varietal selection, food pairings and answer your questions. We're eager to hear what you think!
We'll be tasting the following wines during the event:
· Dreamstone Pink Moscato - Under $8
Made from Moscato grapes grown in vineyards across the La Macha region in Spain, this sparkling Moscato has delicate bubbles and refreshing flavors of white peach, red berry and tropical fruit.
· MaCherie White Cuvee - Under $8
A crisp, ripe dry white wine with fresh lemon, apple and melon aromas. The palate is deliciously round with tropical fruit flavors and a hint of peach.
· Doon Buggy Red Blend - Under $10
This fruit forward wine made from a blend of Syrah and Merlot, yields straight from Napa Valley where the grapes deliver fantastic color and acidity.

Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market's wine range offers national brands along with exclusive blends that come from all over the world. Customers can choose from wines crafted in California, Washington, Oregon, Italy, Spain, Australia, France, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand. The wines range in price from $1.99 to $40, with the majority retailing for under $10. Nearly 170 of the 460 wines offered at Fresh & Easy are exclusive to the company and are blended with the help of Master of Wine Phil Reedman. To date, these exclusive wines have won over 200 medals and accolades.

Richard Wherry
Richard firmly believes that any wine is enhanced by good times and great company. More importantly, he believes great wine doesn't have to be expensive. His passions in life are travel, food, coffee and wine. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
Richard Wherry has managed the wine range at Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market since the fall of 2010. He joined the company in 2009 after his extensive work in the coffee and tea industry.
As a wine buyer, Richard expanded Fresh & Easy's wine range with 150 new wines so far, including both local and international varietals. He's recently been awarded advanced certificates by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and is continuing his education.
