The Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superieur appellations, covering over half of the
world-famous Bordeaux wine region, produce accessible, beautiful, classy wines -- as simple as ABC. Red wines, typically dominant in Merlot or Cabernet
Sauvignon, can be blended with Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Carmenere, and/or Petit
Verdot, and range in style from unoaked and fruity to full-bodied and earthy.
The White Bordeaux wines are made with Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and/or
Muscadelle and have fine acidity, balance and citrus fruit. Equally delicious
are the rose, sweet and sparkling wines of the region.
